Lucy is a Rio Grande Valley native, born and raised in Pharr, Texas. She graduated from McAllen High School and attended college at the University of Texas- Pan American where she received her Bachelors degree in Psychology.
Lucy found that psychology was one of her passions, and received her Master of Arts in Experimental Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis also from the University of Texas- Pan American. She is a Licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analyst who provides therapy to children and adolescents with autism and other developmental delays, and has been living in San Antonio for 10 years.
During her spare time, Lucy engages in one of her other passions: dance. She currently dances flamenco and is a huge supporter of the arts.
Lucy discovered at a young age that God put her on this planet to help people, and when she began using CBD, she knew this was another wonderful way to educate and assist others suffering from pain and mental health ailments. You can find her at the shop every Saturday and Sunday, greeting you with a smile and a hug, eager to help you find the perfect CBD products for you.
Emilie Renee (Garcia) Herrera was born and raised on the South side of San Antonio. At the age of four, she experienced the traumatic event of her mother passing away. It was instilled in her at an early age by Grandmother Pvt. Emma C. Ortiz; one of the first women in the military--to work hard and stand on her own two feet. Her Catholic upbringing lead to her to attend St. Joseph Catholic School and St. Francis Academy High School. She is also a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources.
Emilie has had an extensive career in Human Resources and is currently a Human Development Coordinator in the automotive industry. Emilie and her husband Joel “ Tatu” Herrera own and operate Folklores coffee house and together have owned other business as well. Emilie and Joel are making their unique South side coffee shop a staple of the community and Lady Grace located inside the coffee shop is leading the way for CBD to be accessible in low income areas.
Meet our daily operations manager, Gilda Garcia Rodriguez, born and raised on the SOUTHSIDE of San Antonio by her dearly beloved Grandmother Pvt. Emma C. Ortiz. Gilda is a proud wife, full time mother to 3 beautiful children, and co-owner of Lady Grace. Gilda attended St. Joseph (South San) Catholic School, graduated from St. Francis Academy (Pride of the Southside) Class of 1995, and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University San Antonio. Gilda’s passion for teaching and giving back to the Southside community lead her into a career working for South San Antonio ISD for 14 years. She recently changed career paths to pursue her dreams of becoming a business owner. Gilda is dedicated to bringing awareness to the community she serves.
